Digital X-Ray's

Dental X-Rays are an essential Diagnostic Tool. Without X-Rays, the oral problems may go undetected. At My Gentle Dentist, we use state of the art Digital Radiography (X-Rays). Digital Radiography is a type of X-ray imaging that replaces standard photographic X-ray film with digital X-ray sensors, resulting in enhanced computer images of teeth, gums, and other oral structures and diseases. Intra-Oral Camera

At My Gentle Dentist, we use an Intra-Oral Camera to display photo and video footage straight from inside your mouth on a computer screen. An Intra-Oral Camera illuminates the mouth and captures photographs of patients’ plaque accumulation or that dark, cavitated region.

It lets you see what your Dentist sees. Intra-oral cameras allow you to see what is happening inside your mouth, and the photographic records will enable you to track your Dental progress accurately over time.

TRIOS3 Intraoral Scanner

Dental Impression materials are messy and have unpleasant taste and smell. At My Gentle Dentist, we use a state-of-the-art TRIOS3 Intraoral Scanner for powder-free intraoral scanning, producing high-quality in-colour images. It can measure tooth tints and integrate HD photographs into the 3D model.

Digital Smile Design

At My Gentle Dentist, we use Digital Smile Design(DSD) which is a superior dental technology that allows us to generate a preview of your perfect cosmetic smile makeover.

How Does it Works?

Step 1: With an intraoral scanner, your Dentist will capture 3D photos and videos of every angle of your mouth.

Step 2: All the data will be imported into the DSD software.

Step 3: After the data is imported into the DSD software, your Dentist will analyse your facial and dental proportions, utilising a predetermined series of high-quality digital photographs and videos. From start to completion, you’ll be heavily involved in the process. You’ll also get to approve the 3D model and mock-up photographs of how your smile will look after completing the treatment.

Step 4: Lastly, your Dentist will begin the restoration process after you have given your approval.

A crown restoration can be customised for you on the spot while you’re relaxing in the Dental Chair!

How does it work?

Step 1: Firstly, your teeth are digitally scanned, and the images are transferred to the computer.

Step 2: After that, the E4D System utilises the images to produce your custom-made permanent crown in a matter of minutes. Next, get it fitted onsite at our clinic.

Step 3: This cutting-edge technology allows strong and beautiful crowns to be custom-created and fitted onsite at our clinic.
